53 people are killed in Papua New Guinean tribal conflicts.

TThe island of Papua New Guinea, which is located in the Pacific Ocean close to Australia and Indonesia, is home to numerous tribes. Two of the tribe's groups engaged in a vicious brawl yesterday. They struck each other quite forcefully. In this, 53 persons lost their lives.
The conflict happened in the Ativa province of Enga. The prime minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, stated, "This news from Papua New Guinea is very disturbing."

He additionally stated, "We are providing substantial support, including training police officers, for the security of Papua New Guinea."

On many of the Pacific Ocean's islands, tribes still reside.

They are not in close proximity to people.

It is interesting that the fighting in Enga province last year is reported to have claimed 60 lives.
