Asia's top ranking went to Sri Lanka!

 According to reports, Sri Lanka has the highest electricity costs in all of Asia. Based on a recent Verite Research study.

However, the analysis also showed that Sri Lanka's domestic electricity bills are 2.5–3 times higher than those of other South Asian nations.

According to the study institute, Pakistan has the second-highest electricity bill after Sri Lanka, but it is still far lower.

Sri Lanka made three revisions to its electricity pricing in 2023: in February, July, and October.

To recuperate the entire cost of the electricity supply is the claimed justification for the hike.
