Bethum Nissan scored a double century


 Bethum Nissanga of Sri Lanka opened the one-day cricket match against Afghanistan with a record-breaking double century. He scored the most runs for Sri Lanka in One-Day International cricket, shattering the 23-year record held by Sanath Jayasuriya. Became the tenth batsman to reach two hundred and fifty in an opening ODI.With eight sixes and twenty fours, Nissanga amassed an undefeated 210. Avishka Fernando (88) and Satira Samarawickrama also contributed to Sri Lanka's 381 in 50 overs.
