Death of a former cricket player from South Africa.

Mike Proctor, a former cricket player from South Africa, passes away.

Mariana, his wife, claims that there was an issue during the procedure. He ended up having a heart attack and was admitted to the intensive care unit. He claimed that he was rendered unconscious and never came to.

Mike was a quick bowler who averaged 36.01 and scored 21,936 runs in 401 first-class matches. 48 cents and 109 half-centuries are among them. Along with that, he has 1,417 wickets.

He has participated in seven Test matches, but he was unable to play international cricket when South Africa was shut down as a result of the apartheid regime. He then took on the role as the nation's first coach.

He served as coach when South Africa resumed competition in 1991. After that, he guided the group to the World Cup semifinals in Australia. His health declined due to this disease, and he died without receiving medical attention.
