Dharani was directed by Mass Films even though he did some films.

 Director Dharani disappeared after directing only a few films.

For the first time, he made his debut as a director in Tamil cinema with the film Ethurum Puthirum. It won the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Film.

It must be said that all the films he has directed are excellent.

Ethirum Puthirum (1999)

Director Dharani has made his directorial debut in this film with his name VC Ramani.

The first film is a political story. Mammootty, Napoleon, Sangeetha. Starring Manorama, Goundamani, Senthil, and Nasser.

An honest district collector is accused of having links to a terrorist organization when he rebels against the police trying to nab the kingpin, the brother of a terrorist.

Dil (2001)

Directed by Dharani, the film stars Vikram, Laila, Nasser and Vivek.

Music composed by Vidyasagar, the film was released at Rs. 53 crore has been collected.

A young man who thinks he is an honest police officer. Face-to-face with the policeman and directly confronts him to make a mistake. The story is about the problems he faces and whether he should become a police officer.

Dholl (2003)

Vikram is the hero in this film directed by Dharani. Jyothika, Vivek, Reema Sen, Mylaswamy, and many others have acted with him.

The story is about how the hero-heroine raiders who come to Chennai to find political popularity for the problems in their own village overcome the problems and bring benefits to their town.

Gilli (2004)

This movie doesn't need any announcement.

This movie is for all the fans of cinema. The story of Gilli is about the hero who goes to another town to play kabaddi and struggles to save the heroine knowing that she is in trouble.

Vidyasagar composed music for Vijay and Trisha and all the songs featured in the film were huge hits. The film cost Rs. 50 crore collection record.

Kuruvi (2008)

Vetrivel, a car racing driver, learns that a don from Malaysia owes his father a huge ton.

When he goes to meet the don he realizes that his father is alive and in captivity.

After that, the story is about how the hero rescues his father from Don.
