After eight years, Aishwarya Rajinikanth returned to directing with Lal Salaam. Although Lyca produced this movie, they stipulated that Rajini had to have a cameo role. Rajini somehow consented to have Aishwarya play Moideen Bhai.
Additionally, Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant play the main characters in this cricket-based movie. After receiving crores for a week, Lal Salaam has abruptly dropped to lakhs. As of the eighth day, barely 27 lakhs have been gathered nationwide.
On Thursday, the seventh day, there were 92 lakhs, and on Wednesday, there were 1.21 crores. Almost 3.55 crores were earned by Lal Salaam on its first day of release. The film crew is now extremely shocked at the mere 27 lakhs collected in a single week.
In the upcoming weeks, a lot of new movies will also be released. The fans responded tremendously to Lover, which was previously released alongside Laam Salaam. This week, Siren by Jayam Ravi will also be released in theaters.
