 The two children of an Ethiopian woman who married a Kandyan and resided there without a visa were taken into custody since their visas had expired.

An Ethiopian resident of Kandy's Ambidia neighborhood was detained in Sri Lanka along with his two children.

The woman is already married to a man in Ethiopia and has two children, according to the investigation that was done on them.

She is residing in Ambidia and has remarried in Sri Lanka with these children. His visa expired on January 17 of this year.

The Kandy Tourist Police Department notified the Ethiopian Ambassador in India on Tuesday that there isn't an Ethiopian Embassy in Sri Lanka. In this regard, police are acting further.
