Germany before Japan.

Germany now has the largest economy in the world, surpassing Japan, which was the third largest before the recession.

China is the second-largest economy in the world, after the United States. Germany ranked fourth in terms of economy size, and Japan came in third. Because of Japan's economic crisis, Germany has moved up to the third position in this instance.

According to Japan's declaration today, the country's economy has shrunk over the past two quarters. Japan's gross domestic product shrank by 3.3% in the third quarter. The average yearly decrease is 4.4%."

Japan will have a $4.2 trillion GDP in 2023. It is expected that the average growth is 5.7. Germany's GDP, however, increased by 6.3%. Currently, it is $4.46 trillion.

Food and fuel prices have gone up as a result of Japan's economic downturn, while consumption has gone down by 0.2 percent.
