Polling for Pakistan's parliamentary election began at 8 a.m. today, February 8, 2024, and is proceeding quickly. Voters are exercising their democratic right by going to the polls. It has been declared that voting would continue till five o'clock. Based on data from the Election Commission, 12 crore 85 lakh 85 thousand 760 individuals are eligible to cast a ballot. In order to facilitate their voting, 9 lakh 7 thousand 675 polling places have been put up nationwide. To allow voters to cast their ballots without any obstacles, a public holiday has been declared.
