CBSE has announced that it is planning to introduce a book-based exam writing system in India soon.

According to Indian media, the program is planned to be implemented among the students of classes 9-12.

This practice is said to emphasize the students' understanding of the subject rather than their memory.

In this case, it is reported that the project will be implemented on a trial basis from the coming November.
