The International Srimad Bhagavad Gita Mahakotsavam in Sri Lanka in 2024 has been approved by the Cabinet.
The Haryana State Kurupiri Development Council of India hosts Bhagavad Gita Mahakotsavam every year to offer religious festivities and profound appreciation of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, which is regarded as the sacred text for Hindu believers.
The 2024 International Srimad Bhagavad Gita Mahakotsavam is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka. In recent years, the Mahakotsavam has been conducted overseas.
As a result, the Cabinet has accepted the Minister of Buddhist, Religious, and Cultural Affairs' proposal to use funds from the Haryana State Group Development Council of India to host the Lotus Pond on campus from March 1, 2024, to March 3, 2024.
