He made this statement during yesterday's (13th) meeting of the Nuwara Eliya District Coordination Committee.

The highest and coldest place in the nation is the aforementioned mountain range in the Nuwara Eliya district.

In this instance, tourists ought to be allowed to return. According to Lalit U. Gamage, the governor of the Central Province, the Bithuruthalakala mountain region has great educational and tourism value, and it is unacceptable to keep it off-limits to the general public.
