The introduction of the blue card in football

The purpose of the blue card is to encourage international football. Players who are issued a blue card and sent out for ten minutes are those who commit egregious fouls or express disagreement with the referee. A player will be substituted out if they receive two blue cards. Since the introduction of the yellow and red cards during the 1970 World Cup, this is the first new card to be used in the game. The International Football Association, which creates laws for the game, has signed it.FIFA announced that the blue card trials would only be used at the lower levels of competition and that they would be reviewed at the International Football Association Board's annual meeting early in the following month.
