The President of Sri Lanka had a meeting with Australia Sri Lankans

Western Australian Chief Minister Roger Cook, Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong, and President Ranil Wickremesinghe of Sri Lanka met in Perth, Australia.  Furthermore, the Sri Lankan President visited Perth, Australia, to meet with Sri Lankan expatriates. The president of Sri Lanka explained the modernizing initiatives and attempts being made to revive the country's economy. Australian-born Sri Lankans have stated that they will give the government the assistance it needs to boost the country's economy in a variety of areas, such as tourism and climate change.
