Due to the bad dietary habits that we follow nowadays, constipation is becoming a problem faced by everyone from children to adults. Especially since none of us consume high-fiber foods. Fatty foods and processed foods are the main cause of constipation. If this constipation problem is ignored for a long time, it can cause many effects on the intestines. Lamp oil: It must be said that this is a medicine that is present in every household. Clove oil has been used for hundreds of years to relieve constipation. It acts as a laxative as it is viscous in nature. One or two teaspoons of castor oil mixed with milk and drunk will cure the problem of constipation. It is best to drink this at night before going to bed.

Guava: Guava is a high-fiber food. The soluble fiber present in it helps in the production of mucus in the anus and relieves constipation. So daily consumption of guava fruit can help us to get rid of constipation.

Citrus fruits: Constipation can also be cured by eating fruits like lemons and oranges which are rich in vitamin C. Ayurvedic medicine recommends lemon juice for constipation. Drinking warm water with some lemon juice and salt in the morning acts as a cleansing mixture for our bowels.

Triphala Powder: Triphala is a powder made by combining mustard seeds, gooseberry, and ginger. It is an excellent laxative. Also helps greatly in improving our bowel function. If you add one spoon of this powder to a glass of hot water and drink it, constipation will disappear without knowing where it is. It is best to drink this at night before going to bed.

Figs: Figs are normally available in both ripe and dried states. Due to its high fiber content, a glass of milk with figs and heat before going to sleep will give good results for constipation.

Constipation can also be relieved by eating high-fiber foods such as flaxseeds, raisins, and greens. As all the above-mentioned are natural, you will not have any side effects from consuming them.
