35 fatalities in Pakistan due to heavy snowfall.

Heavy snow and rain in Pakistan resulted in 35 deaths.

Since 02/03/2024, there have been unexpectedly high levels of rain and snowfall in the country's western and northern areas. 35 individuals, including 22 girls, perished in the tragedy. According to officials, the majority of them perished because the landslide brought on by the blizzard buried their homes.

In March, Pakistan often experiences mild weather. However, specialists have reported that there is abnormally high snowfall in Afghanistan, the northern and western portions of Pakistan, and northeastern India due to the westerly monsoon that forms in the Caspian Sea and flows eastward.
