400 kilograms of ganja that were being trafficked into Sri Lanka were found.

The customs officers of the Central Intelligence Division in Ramanathapuram confiscated 400 kg of ganja valued at 60 lakhs.

Ravi, the Chief Commissioner of Customs at the Central Intelligence Unit, Ramanathapuram, received sensitive information indicating that a search was carried out by customs authorities at the shrimp farm located near Mimisal beach in Pudukottai district.

400 kg bags of ganja valued at 60 lakhs were seized at that time. After being brought to the customs office in Ramanathapuram, the investigating customs authorities informed them that they were searching for SB Pattinam Chontha Sultan.

Karthik, 43, of Puduvandi Palayam Marudu Nagar in Cuddalore District was taken into custody in relation to this event. It turned out that he was smuggling ganja from Mimisal to Sri Lanka during the investigation. There's been a lot of excitement in the area since the incident with the attempt to transport ganja to Sri Lanka from the Mimisal coastline area.
