Doctors were taken aback when a baby boy with a 10-cm tail was delivered in China.
According to medical professionals, this is the result of a condition known as tethered spinal cord, in which there is no mobility. The parents of the child asked the physicians to remove the youngster's tail from his back. However, because this tail is attached to the nervous system, the infant will suffer if the tail is physically removed, which is why the physicians have said unequivocally that the tail cannot be removed. A kid born in June of last year in Guyana had a tail earlier. Notable is the fact that the 10-day-old baby's tail was successfully removed by the medical professionals.
