Afghanistan experienced an earthquake of magnitude 5.5.

Afghanistan had an early-morning 5.5-magnitude earthquake on March 19, 2024. There are reports that Pakistan has also felt the vibrations from this earthquake.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 65 kilometers from the Nushki district of Balochistan, which borders Pakistan, and 632 kilometers southwest of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

Since the earthquake's epicenter was located 10 kilometers below the surface, tremors were felt all around.

Reports, however, indicate that no significant damage was sustained.
