Dravid advises Kuldeep

India defeated England 4-1 in their 5-match Test cricket series. Ravichandran Ashwin became the fourteenth Indian player to play 100 Tests in the series' final game played at Dharamsala. In his 100th game, Ashwin claimed nine wickets overall and broke the world record for most bowling statistics.

In addition, in his debut and in his 100th game, he became the only player in history to take five wickets in an innings. In addition, he beat Anil Kumble's lifetime record of capturing five wickets in the series and became the second Indian player to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket.

Not to be forgotten, though, is that the Indian team management left him off the field in the 2023 Test Championship final and is considering forcing him to play abroad despite his outstanding performance. In this instance, coach Rahul Dravid claimed that Ashwin is occasionally denied opportunities because spin-friendly surfaces are unavailable in other nations.

Beyond that, though, Dravid commended Ashwin for his 500 wicket haul, saying it was an amazing effort given the opportunity. Here is what Rahul Dravid had to say about Kuldeep Yadav, who is now not receiving many opportunities, telling him to have a look at Ashwin, a legendary player. "Embrace each year as it comes"

"Even Ashwin, who has amassed 500 wickets, has not participated in many international games. because the stadiums we see overseas are different. Kuldeep Yadav is having difficulty getting an opportunity because of the legends Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, who are currently serving as spinners for Indian teams.

"Axar Patel has performed admirably for us in the chances we have had. Both athletes have exceptional batting and bowling skills. It's a plus for us that Kuldeep in particular has improved his batting," he remarked. Notably, Kuldeep Yadav, who has performed just as brilliantly as Ashwin in this series, is anticipated to be the primary spinner for the Indian team in the upcoming years.
