International leaders applaud President Putin of Russia.

Vladimir Putin has been congratulated on completing his fifth term as president of Russia by world leaders such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and North Korean President Kim Jong Un.

Following three days in a row of voter registration (18.03.2024), the ballots were counted and the election results were released.

This indicates that Putin won 87.85 percent of the vote and was reelected as president. This means that Putin will assume office as Russia's president for the fifth time, which is notable.
