The Gaza-based al-Sheba Hospital has been the target of another attack by the Israeli army.
The Israeli military claimed that the operation was executed following intelligence warnings that top Hamas operatives were preparing an ambush at the hospital and that it would never be permitted for medical facilities to be used for terrorist purposes.
A fire that started in the Al-Sheba Hospital's surgical ward expanded during the Israeli strike, and some deaths were recorded.
Gaza has denounced this action as a breach of international humanitarian law in this particular circumstance.
