Jackpot hit for Indian players.

The BCCI has chosen to reward Indian Test team players with incentives. You are mistaken if you believe that BCCI's decision was influenced by their victory over England in the Test series. Ishan Kishan, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, is the rationale behind BCCI's decision.
Due to the Indian team's poor performance at the 2023 World Cup and a lack of suitable opportunities within the squad, Ishan Kishan has left the team. Midway through the South African Test series, he called it quits. The Indian team management requested him to play in the Ranji Trophy, a local Test series, following a two-week break.

Ishan Kishan, though, has no desire to compete in the Ranji Trophy. Rather than practicing for the 2024 IPL series, he is taking part in the local T20 series. The BCCI is scratching its heads over his lack of interest in the England Test series.

If this keeps up, a lot of players will only care about the Indian Premier League and not be interested in playing in Test matches. A mere participation in the two-month-long Indian Premier League (IPL) might earn one crore in pay. In addition, based on their significance, the players will receive a portion of the advertising money.

The BCCI has therefore concluded that incentives should be provided to the young players in order to motivate them to play in the Test series. As a result, it's said that the BCCI will award incentive money to players who participate in every Test series for the entire year.

At the moment, the BCCI pays Rs. 3 lakh for an international Twenty20 match, Rs. 6 lakh for an ODI match, and Rs. 15 lakh for a Test match. Players who played in every Test match will receive an additional payment at the end of the year in addition to their current wage of 15 lakhs.
