Marais Erasmus retires from international cricket.

Marais Erasmus, a South African, has several years of experience officiating international cricket matches.

In 2006, he officiated his first international cricket match. He has officiated over a hundred international cricket matches to date. Three times, he has taken home the ICC Umpire of the Year Award.

The 61-year-old has declared his retirement from the game of cricket internationally. He declared he would retire following the Test series between Australia and New Zealand. He added that he will continue to support cricket even after retiring.
