Pakistan's Prime Minister is Shahbaz Sharif.

On March 4, 2024, Shahbaz Sharif, the leader of the Muslim League-Nawaz Party (PML-N), will be reelected to the position of prime minister of Pakistan for a second term.
On the eighth, there were elections for Pakistan's Parliament. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by former prime minister Imran Khan, was not allowed to run in the election, thus its candidates ran as independents. Despite having taken over more territory, they lack the power to rule. A new administration was subsequently formed by the PML-N, led by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), led by former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zatari.

Shahbaz, Nawaz's brother, was declared the party's general candidate for that reason. On behalf of the PTI party, Umar Ayub Khan has put in a nomination to challenge him. Shahbaz will take the oath of office tomorrow, since he is expected to win the upcoming Parliamentary elections on March 3, 2024.
