Prime Minister of Palestine steps down.

In the Palestinian-occupied Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has been attacking Hamas fighters on many occasions.

In this instance, a new development in the Palestinian government, Mohammad Shtayyeh has declared his intention to resign as prime minister.
Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayye has stated that he wants to form a new administration and dissolve the one he now leads in Palestine. After that, he sent Mahmoud Abbas, the president of Palestine, a letter resigning.

He claimed that this decision was made in response to the Israeli army's ongoing attacks in the Gaza region and that it would be appropriate to establish a new administration to oversee Palestine in the aftermath of the war.
