The Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam membership application was recently introduced by actor and party leader Vijay. Many of his supporters announced on social media that they had attended the party following the app's launch.
According to current reports, 50 lakh members have joined the party thus far, according to the deputy secretary for membership of the party. Notably, actor Vijay will not run in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections but instead face the Legislative Assembly elections in 2026.
