The quick repatriation of the Sri Lankans who were rescued in Myanmar has been discussed between Presidential Counsel Ali Sabri and Thailand's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of External Affairs reports that the two sides had a phone conversation.
It was just publicly declared by the Myanmar government that eight of the 56 Sri Lankans involved in the country's cybercrime network had been saved.
This reportedly states that President's Counsel Ali Sabri, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, has asked the Foreign Minister of Thailand to grant the required assistance in order to transport the aforementioned individuals to Sri Lanka.
As a result, it is said that Thailand's Minister of Foreign Affairs has consented to supply relevant facilities.
