The number of obese people is increasing to one billion.

It also stated that hunger is a contributing factor in the rising obesity rate. Adult obesity rates roughly triple for males and double for women. According to the study, the rate of obesity among boys and girls doubled between 1990 and 2022 and is rising in practically every nation.

According to the study, the percentage of underweight boys and girls has dropped from 16.7 percent to 10.8 percent 10.3 percent, and 8.2 percent, respectively, between 1990 and 2022.
