Women's Cricket- Fastest Bowler Record by South African Player.

India's Bengaluru and Delhi are hosting the Women's Premier League R-20 series.
Since every match in Bengaluru has concluded, it will now take place in Delhi starting on March 5, 2024. The Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians teams engaged in various tests during the day's action.

Shabneem Ismail, a former fast bowler for South Africa, delivered the third over for the Mumbai Indians during the game.
At 132.1 kmph, Mac Lanning bowled the second ball in this over. She now holds the record for being the fastest bowler in women's cricket. Until now, no female athlete had ever exceeded 130 kmph. The previous record versus the West Indies was 128 kmph earlier in 2016. He has now surpassed the record himself.

In the 2022 World Cup series, he also bowled twice with a pace of 127 kmph. Over the last 16 years, the 34-year-old Ismail has represented South Africa in 113 T20Is and 127 ODIs.

He's only participated in one test match. Delhi Capitals scored 192 runs in the opening game on March 5, 2024. The Mumbai Indians then set a lofty goal for themselves and were only able to muster 163 runs. They were defeated by 29 runs as a consequence.
